All The Artists cannot give tax advice, but generally, cash prizes are considered miscellaneous income. Winners should consult a tax professional to understand how a prize may affect their tax filing.
- Winners of prizes totaling $600 USD or more in a calendar year must complete a W-9 form.
All The Artists will file a Form 1099 with the IRS for all prize totals over $600.
